Day One: Learn to make the basic circular peyote triangles and the two types of joins used. Make several simpler shapes. Then learn to plan shapes and color patterns by making paper models. Day Two: Move on to more complex shapes, a variety of embellishments that can be added, and begin to create your own variations. Full color step-by-step instructions are provided for the designs pictured above along with ideas for creating additional shapes. Reproducible pages are included to help you plan both color patterns and shapes on paper before working with beads. Additional inspiration pieces will be shown and discussed in class. |
