Learn to make basic blocks by joining bugle beads and seed beads with or without embellishments. Many different flat and three-dimensional block variations are included. Then learn how to join multiple blocks to work provided designs or create your own unique pieces. Reproducible “template” pages are provided to help you plan your individual design combinations. Full color step-by-step instructions are provided for all block styles, and for the provided designs pictured above. Additional inspiration pieces will be shown and discussed in class. |

How difficult is it? Some bead weaving experience is needed for this design. You should be comfortable with using small Japanese bugle and seed beads, and should be able to maintain a consistent tension with needle and beading thread. Stitches used are ladder stitch and right angle weave. |
