This stunning piece lies gracefully around the neck in a series of interlocking S-curves studded with two colors of fire-polished crystals. A two-layer right angle weave technique gives added weight while still allowing the finished piece to be flexible. Varying seed bead sizes are used to create the curves. A matching bracelet of smaller S-curves completes the set. Full color step-by-step instructions are provided. Additional variations and inspiration pieces will be shown and discussed in class. There are many design possibilities using this technique for students who are willing to experiment! |

How difficult is it? Bead weaving experience is needed for this design. You should be comfortable with using small seed beads (Japanese size 15º), and should be able to maintain a consistent tension with needle and beading thread. Experience with right angle weave is very helpful. This design involves joins and an embellishment layer. |
